Getting set up
What do I need to run BreakCast OS™?
A streaming setup that can show a web page. OBS is the usual host, but any tool with a browser source works. The controller runs great on an iPad if you have one; any phone, tablet, or second browser tab does the same job.
Do I have to install anything?
No. The board and the controller both run in the browser. There is an optional Windows helper if you want the extra convenience, but nothing about your board depends on it.
What is the Windows helper?
A small optional app that keeps your board and controller one click away from the system tray while you stream. Skip it and you lose nothing: every feature works from the browser.
Where it works
Does it work on Whatnot, Fanatics Live, and Instagram?
Yes. The board rides inside your video as a browser source, so it shows up wherever you stream: Whatnot, Fanatics Live, Instagram Live, YouTube, Twitch, or anywhere else you point your stream. There is no platform integration to depend on.
How do sales and hits get on the board?
You tap them on the controller. Mark a spot sold, slam a hit, and the board reacts live on stream. No platform feed in the loop means nothing to break mid-break.
Billing and refunds
What does it cost?
A one-time $200 build fee for your branded board, then $99 a month. The first 25 founding seats are $79 a month. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. BreakCast OS is month to month; cancel whenever you want. The details are spelled out in Refunds and Cancellation.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the board is not right for your show, ask within the first 14 days and you get your money back.
What happens if my card fails?
You get 5 notices over 5 days to update your payment before anything is interrupted. A declined card should never cost you a show.
Your brand
Is my brand safe on the board?
Yes. The board carries your shop's name, colors, and logo, and everything you upload stays yours. BreakCast OS ships no league marks: built-in tiles use generic badges, and any team art you add is yours to source and clear. We are not affiliated with any sports league.
Will my board look like a template?
No. The build fee pays for a branded build, not a skin swap: your logo, your colors, and your pick of five board layouts, assembled for your show before your first stream.
